That´s a lovely pattern-fabric-combination you picked out there! I think that the Marie skirt is supposed to be worn on the natural waist (I thought about making it too), maybe that´s the reason why it doesn´t fit? But I´m only guessing. Anyway, it´s going to be super cute when finished!
