as an experienced sewer and part time knitter, I give your attempts a thumbs up. Creativity is a funny thing - when you have the drive but not the skill, you will find that they converge on attempt #13 - so keep on pressing toward the mark!

I keep telling myself to keep at it and the energy, skill and creativity will all come together at some point.
