Stashety Stashy Stash....

.... My crack of dawn* trip to Parons East was sssooooooo worth it!... granted the store was practically decimated, but there was still more than enough for a lil' ole novice like me to get giddy over...I think I came away with some very good finds...

Not the least of which is this really nice printed cotton/poly blend that has this great mustardy-golden metallic 'a la Jackson Pollock' design over a white and grey/blue background....
I have either of these Built by Wendy dresses in mind for it...

Then I found this medium/heavy weight linen with this bold graphic print I had been looking for...Even though I was really looking for a fab to make View B of Vogue V1046... I really think this would look nice made up in View A.
I also found this pretty poly/rayon stretch fab that I think would work really well for the Vogue V8379 wrap dress pattern I bought on Thursday...
I scored when I found a 100% wool jersey the exact same color as the darkest tan in the print...
...
.....
....... ahem... you're probably wondering why no picture..... that's because when I got home..... IT.WAS.NOT.IN.MY.BAG!!!... ((sigh)).... I'll be going back to pick it up tomorrow (along with two free yards of anything else in the store I want... for my troub's... ;-)

But I think my first project might be with this soft cotton/poly shirting fabric using this B-B-W dress (I'm making just now in yellow).....
The yellow version is actually the top, but I decided to use the sleeves from the black gridded dress in the background. This time, I think I'll make the dress itself.

*by 'crack of dawn' I mean being up and out of the house before 10am on a vacation day...lol

Holla!

Didn't I?!?!?! And I must say I remembered your post from Thursday about you shopping for your Fall fabrics... so, I tried not to just by for immediate needs, as I usually do.

Whoa, I love that petal print! Is that a knit or a stretch woven? It's gorgeous, whatever it is.
